Research Management

The Research Management team at the Beatson Institute assists its scientists by:

  • Organising and minuting many of the Institute's scientific and operational meetings
  • Editing publications, including its Scientific Report, manuscripts and grant applications
  • Maintaining an up-to-date website
  • Overseeing the graduate student training programme
  • Providing reports and answering queries from internal and external audiences, including Cancer Research UK, about the Institute's research and its outputs
  • Assisting researchers to identify and apply for external grant funding, including early career researchers making fellowship applications
  • Providing training and advice on good practice in research. As part of this, the Institute subscribes to the UK Research Integrity Office.
