Student Conference

5th International PhD Student Cancer Conference 2011
WEDNESDAY 15 TO FRIDAY 17 JUNE 2011
Robertson Trust Lecture Theatre,
The Beatson Institute for Cancer Research

The students at the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research are honoured to be hosting the 5th International PhD Student Cancer Conference in Glasgow. The aim of this conference is to allow PhD students from top cancer research institutes across Europe to discuss their work with each other and two keynote speakers. All 100 to 150 students will be presenting their work as either a talk or poster. There will also be time to interact and get to know each other at social events.

We are delighted to have world-class researchers Sir Tim Hunt and Prof. Gerard Evan confirmed as this year's keynote speakers. On the social front, look forward to a Scottish dancing experience and traditional British pub quiz. Registration fees are £150 including accommodation (single ensuite rooms) for Wednesday and Thursday night in the Queen Margaret Residences and £85 without accommodation. Registration has now closed.

Attendance at the conference is restricted to PhD students from the following institutes:
