Prof. Stephen Tait
A postdoctoral position is open in Prof. Stephen Tait's group at the Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute. The Tait group performs cutting edge research in the area of cancer cell death and inflammation (see Riley et al. EMBO.J 2018; Giampazolias et al. Nat. Cell. Biol 2017; Ichim and Tait. Nat. Rev. Cancer 2017; Lopez et al. Nat. Comms 2016). Through recent funding from Prostate Cancer UK, we seek a highly-motivated scientist to investigate immunogenic cell death as a way to better treat advanced prostate cancer.
A relevant PhD and previous experience with mammalian cell culture, molecular biology are essential. Experience in tumor immunology and/or in vivo mouse models would be advantageous. This position will be fixed initially for 3 years.
